In the field since January 2010
Downshift Industries was founded by Travis Geiger, a wellsite geologist and geosteering professional with more than 16 years of hands-on experience in oil and gas operations.
Travis first stepped onto a drilling rig in January 2010 and has worked continuously in the field ever since, with experience spanning mudlogging, wellsite geology, and geosteering. Over that time, he has worked across multiple basins, operators, and service companies, gaining firsthand experience with the different workflows, technologies, equipment, and operational challenges encountered at the wellsite.
That field experience is at the core of Downshift Industries. DSI combines more than 16 years of firsthand wellsite experience with a practical approach to technology, equipment, workflows, and problem-solving in the field.
